Learning success at 5th Mind always means practical success. Theoretical knowledge that you cannot apply in practice does not help you in the real company. Hard facts Knowledge must be available in practice, otherwise it is a body without an engine. We have therefore developed the 5th Mind Method for you in an experience-oriented, exciting and very practical way. It is our goal that our participants bring their knowledge-PS onto the road - because efficiently used knowledge ensures optimal torque in management and creates the decisive advantage in competition.

Turning Knowledge into Action.

  • Active involvement. The game involves the participants intensively in the action. The topics are experienced and literally “grasped” by the board game.
  • Multi-sensory learning through a mix of methods. Board simulation games can be recorded haptically ("tangible"). The participants learn process processes “easily”. Staged situations create experiences and increase retention performance. Conscious examples and associations create pictorial learning ("easier learning"). Learning from and with each other in the group promotes a common understanding and anchors group performance. ( "Peer learning")
  • Learning has to be fun. There is a laugh in the seminar! The participants do not experience the seminar content as "dry" matter, but associate the process with a positive learning experience.
  • Transparent cause-effect relationships. The effects and results of every action are experienced immediately. The participants immediately recognize the relationships between cause and effect.
  • Personal benefit. The participants experience how they can specifically increase the success (KPIs) of the company

5 steps to SUCCESS
  • 1 step: act

    Action from the start. The 5th mind method involves the participants through a "story behind". There is an auditory, visual and kinesthetic approach to the participants. Immediately after taking over the management of the company, the game escalates practical experiences that can be perceived and business decisions are made. In active action, the training participants acquire sustainable knowledge.

  • Step 2: Think

    Activity cycle reflection. An "inner dialogue" provides insights into the effects of the steps taken. Business management is understood by the participants themselves recognizing connections.

  • Step 3: Discuss

    Experiences are exchanged in group discussions. The participants learn to articulate effects of the actions taken. One result of this is the confrontation with different approaches and perspectives.

  • Step 4: Theorizing

    Reflection of the experience. Even recognized relationships are confirmed in the de-briefing and the underlying business laws and theories are conveyed in a summary. The participants learn the theories behind concrete situations they have experienced. This will help you understand better. Knowledge is thus associated with images, feelings and experiences and can be stored longer. However, the imparted inputs remain not only theory, but can and should be used in further periods and implemented. This transforms knowledge into useful know-how.

  • 5 step: planning

    The final phase is a critical review of what has been learned. Practical use is checked in-house.

Our 5th Mind training method is based on the maxim "learning business by doing business". With the help of board game-based company simulations, complex interrelationships in corporate management are experienced and learned in a playful manner: with maximum learning efficiency in the shortest possible time.

On the basis of scientific learning theories, we transform theoretical knowledge into practical, business management skills. One of the most important learning theories comes from Arthur Costa, Frederick Vester and Bernice McCarthy. These have been describing and researching human learning behavior for years. Our method is based on these findings.
